The day finally arrived when Theo was able to sit down to a traditional Jewish-style deli brunch with his guests. Having won the raffle prize at our winter wine-tasting, he had been working up an appetite for some time! 

On the menu: latkes, blintz souffle, bagels, lox, cream and swiss cheese, cole slaw, white fish salad, gefilte fish, noodle kugel, fresh fruit, Kosher pickles, rye and pumpernickel bread with challah rolls, mandel bread, black & white cookies, assorted Danish and, most importantly, chocolate babka! Oy vey! We didn't get a picture of the tasty desserts or the sated guests.

With klezmer music playing in the background it was a meal to remember!
